THE letter was sent on Thursday afternoon last week by the Jakarta Transportation Agency to Governor Fauzi Bowo. It contained suggestions on how much public transport fares should be reduced. “We suggested a reduction of Rp500,” said Edie Toet Hendratmo, Transportation Agency Chairman.
