THE National Mandate Party (PAN) leadership meeting on Wednesday evening last week took place in a heated atmosphere. Opening at 9pm, the meeting only finished at 2am. The discussion seemed to be a sensitive issue: an informal meeting held by PAN’s Advisory Council Chairman, Amien Rais, three days earlier.
