AGUS Condro, a member of the House of Representatives (DPR) once poked fun at his colleague, Emir Moeis, Chairman of the DPR’s Finance Commission. Agus called Emir a “city dweller” who was no less of a country bumpkin than he himself was. Emir should have been craftier in this matter, but as it turned out, he was no different. Emir “cashed them himself,” said Agus, referring to the traveler’s checks, just as he himself had done.
