THE rubble of the former four-story building was piled 8 meters high. An excavator continued to extend its lone arm to claw through the rubble and move it aside. Rescue workers went in and out of the three holes they had dug around the hills of rubble that once was the Prayoga Foreign Language Academy on Jalan Veteran, in the city of Padang.
