Dozens of village heads in Depok have sent a letter to the president rejecting the Supreme Courts decision. Some feel they were tricked into signing it, however.

VILLAGE head Tubagus Asnawi from Tugu is like a star among the village chiefs of Depok. Over the last few days his cell phone has been ringing incessantly. Not calls from residents or from the sub-district office to attend a meeting, but rather from journalists or his colleagues, the other Depok village heads.
