Michael Hatcher is back. He is believed to be working as a consultant to a firm now salvaging treasures in waters off Subang, West Java. He is being hunted by the police.

HE looks physically old, stout and wrinkled. However, at the age of 70, he remains very agile. He is aboard a vessel furnished with sophisticated equipment: a sea scanner capable of detecting objects to a depth of 400 meters, and sonar for depth measurement of up to 50 meters.
