EVEN in his twilight years, Moelyono still remembers one particular pupil at the Kediri 1 State Senior High School in East Java, almost 50 years ago. The pupil was Hadi Poernomo, the son of the Kediri regency secretary. "He wasn't popular," said 75-year-old Moelyono late last month.
