SUMALINDO Lestari Jaya is not a typical company. As of this year, this publicly traded company was listed as one of Indonesia's largest owners of an industrial forestry concession area (HTI) and forest usage rights holder. The total area under their control comes to more than 840,000 hectares of natural forest and 73,000 hectares of HTI.

Sumalindo's production capacity is no small thing. They can produce 1.1 million cubic meters of plywood annually.
