Pia Nasution, Gayus’s Lawyer:
Letting him go home is a humanitarian thing

AFTER it was discovered that Gayus Halomoan Tambunan, the former tax official charged with corruption, had managed to leave his prison cell, his own team of lawyers ‘interrogated’ him. According to Pia Nasution, one of the lawyers, the meeting took place at the South Jakarta District Court, on Wednesday last week.

Reportedly, Gayus told team leader Adnan Buyung Nasution that he just went home and did not fly to Bali. Pia spoke to Tempo repo
