Police have yet to name new suspects in the cases of embezzling Citibank premium customers and money laundering. The only suspect so far is former Citibank Senior Relationship Manager Malinda Dee. Recent developments indicate that some of the funds she misappropriated became tied up in sour business deals.

INONG Malinda Dee has become a celebrity. Since her detention in a cell at the Crime Investigation Unit of the National Police Headquarters three weeks ago, this mother of three has received a stream of visitors. In addition to family and friends, scores of lawyers have come to show their sympathy and offer their services. When Tempo visited her last week, Malinda could be seen having a serious discussion with well-known lawyer Mohammad Assegaf.
