Divestment sale of stock in PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara (NNT), a company established by Newmont Corp (USA) and Sumitomo (Japan), to the Indonesian side has been down a rocky road. A number of companies are fighting over 51 percent of the stock in this copper and gold producer. A tug-of-war has been going on since the sale of 24 percent of Newmont stock in 2006.
