The investigation into the Sukhoi Superjet crash concluded that the accident was mainly due to pilot negligence. The air traffic controller who failed to stay alert was not mentioned in the conclusion. Tempo found other facts not revealed in the report.

The radar screen looked like it was invaded by fireflies, as it lit up with the approach of airplanes into Soekarno-Hatta airport on that Wednesday afternoon, May 9.
