BAMBANG Hari Iswanto Tanoesoedibjo has made a real impact with his seemingly unbroken chain of investment successes during the current crisis, and is now being referred to as a potential new business tycoon. Twelve years ago, he was just a name on a list of businessmen in Surabaya. Hary, as he is usually called, was at that time a 26-year-old ‘unknown’ who had just graduated as a bachelor of commerce at a university in Ottawa, Canada.
