The meeting with Samosir, chief editor of the daily Harian Rakjat at Paviliun Cidurian No. 19 on Jalan Cikini in South Jakarta in June 1963, changed Amarzan Ismail Hamid's life. The meeting was facilitated by Oey Hay Djoen, owner of the pavilion. "Zan, meet Bung Samosir," Oey said.
