Life in Bintuni town, West Papua has been more alive and exciting over the past two weeks. Residents have been able to turn on lights, watch television and use the radio and other electronic devices, any time they want. Previously such a luxury could only be done at night, as electricity from the State Electricity Company (PLN) only flowed from 6pm to 6am.
