COMPARED to the previous two general elections, the Democrat Party's campaign team today is more streamlined. Established in 2003, the party was supported by many unofficial teams, while this time they are only relying on election campaign groups in the capital and the provinces.

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), as party chairman, is still heavily relied upon to attract support during the campaign period, which is set to end this weekend.
