AS economists predicted, the Jokowi effect has woven its spell on the market. The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) was boosted by 1.09 percent shortly after the country's new leaders were sworn in on October 20. At the close of the day's first trading, the index closed up 55 points to 5,083 since opening time.
The festivities surrounding the Jokowi- JK inauguration were amazing. For the first time in the nation's history, thousands of people took to the streets to celebrate the induction of a new leader. The capital city's main avenuesSudirman, Thamrin and Merdekaleading up to the State Palace, were transformed into a sea of people that bright and sunny Monday.
