WHEN President Widodo asked Bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil to handle preparations for the Asia-Africa Conference of 2015, he became worried. After all, he was only given two months to work. "I received the names of the conference committee members only in mid-February," said the mayor of Bandung.
Ridwan's task was not easy. He had to improve the sidewalks in the area of Asia-Afrika, Braga, Cikapundung and Lengkong. "Including the jumbled electricity cables," said Eko Sulistyo, a Presidential Staff Office deputy.
