The Rohingya Are A Muslim Minority In Myanmar, A Country Where The Majority Of The Population Is Buddhist. Numbering About 800,000, Most Rohingya Live In Rakhine State In Myanmar's Western Region. They Have Been There For Three Generations. However, The Government Of Myanmar Has Disenfranchised Them. The Rohingya Have Been Systematically Persecuted And Discriminated Against. No One In The Country Is Concerned About Their Fate, Including Nobel Winner And Opposition Leader Aung San Suu Kyi-even At A Time When Myanmar Is Carrying Out Reforms.
