Joko Widodo's presidency turned a year old on October 20. His cabinet's programs and policies received uneven appraisal. Frequent increases in the prices of basic necessities offset the few economic improvements. Progress in justice and human rights has ground to a halt. Still, most of President Jokowi's achievements reflected the Nawacita priorities he had campaigned on.
