"They come here from afternoon until night, reading books or just playing," said Rose, whose faraway hometown is Magelang in Central Java.

Rosalinda Delin, 44, has given people in the Belu Regency of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) some hope. She may be soft-spoken, but this midwife is tough as nails.
