Eradicating illegal fees collection, reducing high logistics costs, expediting business licenses paperwork and increasing investment should be the government's priorities next year.
Of the various sources of growth, consumption and investment in the digital economy can be a source of hope in boosting the economy. The number of Internet users has reached 47 percent of the world population, making the digital economy a promising market. One indicator is that online transactions in the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member nations alone involves 1.8 billion people, or about 65 percent of the total population of APEC member nations.
