Mohammad Jafar Hafsah was on the list of witnesses who surrendered to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) the funds suspected of coming from the corrupted e-KTP (electronic ID cards) project. According to documents obtained by Tempo, this Democrat Party politician returned Rp1 billion two weeks after he was questioned by KPK investigators early last December.
