Johannes Marliem was in contact with Tempo reporter Indri Maulidar from the end of July to early August. Johannes, director of Biomorf LLC-the US company that recorded fingerprint data for Indonesia’s electronic ID (e-KTP) project-connected with Indri because Koran Tempo had repeatedly written about the Rp5.9-trillion project consortium’s unpaid debt to Biomorf.
The last communication was made one week before the Los Angeles police reported
