Developers working on the Jakarta Bay’s reclamation are lobbying Jakarta’s new governor, Anies Baswedan, to resume the project. Anies is yet to make his position clear.

The meeting that took place at the home of Gerindra Party chair Prabowo Subianto in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, early in August, was no ordinary lunch event, as Prabowo had invited those involved in the Jakarta Bay reclamation project.
