DOZENS of children swarmed tourists who had just arrived at the Kuta Mandalika Beach, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), on the last Thursday of October. Some of the children offered typical Lombok souvenirs, such as bracelets and T-shirts. The children, who were elementary-school age, also offered to take pictures of the tourists in front of “The Mandalika Kuta Lombok” sign with the blue-green ocean as the backdrop.
