VARIOUS peculiarities have colored the investigation into the suspected bribery of former General Elections Commission member, Wahyu Setiawan.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) took members of the investigation team off the case, some are even being investigated by agency’s internal monitors. Furthermore, the KPK insists that Harun Masuki, who allegedly bribed Wahyu, has been overseas since January 6, or two days before Wahyu’s arrest.
