ON Monday, March 2, President Joko Widodo finally announced the first coronavirus cases in Indonesia. The President, who was accompanied by the health minister, announced that two individuals, a mother and daughter, had tested positive for the disease. They are believed to have been infected by a Japanese national who tested positive for the disease and visited Indonesia in mid-February.
