Farmers in many regions are facing gloomy prospects for the first harvest of the year 2021. They are crushed between the plunging prices of unhusked rice and the low absorption by the State Logistics Agency (Bulog).
THE commotion over imported rice irked Yeni. The price of dried paddy rice was down just as she had finished harvesting the crop of her plot the size of a football field in Talun district in the Cirebon regency, West Java.
