Election for the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman turned heated. The Palace’s alleged support for one of the candidates puts pressures on voters.
WHEN the Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (KADIN) 8th National Conference’s location was moved, conversation on the WhatsApp group for regional KADIN chairs grew tense in late May. The tension began to subside in early June, although some in the group consisting of central KADIN officials still expressed their discontent.
