Two months before the Christmas and New Year holidays, the government is making PCR test mandatory for air travel. The regulation is believed to benefit PCR laboratories that have already ordered reagents in large quantities.
WHEN he spoke on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel, Luhut Pandjaitan conveyed the plan to revise the price of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests on Monday, October 25. The coordinating minister for maritime affairs and investment said President Joko Widodo wanted to lower the price of PCR test to Rp300,000. “(The test is) valid for 3 x 24 hours,” said Luhut.
