Cooking Oil at the Minister’s House

The attorney general names Lin Che Wei the fifth suspect in the graft case surrounding the export of crude palm oil and its derivatives. Investigators are also looking into Trade Minister Muhammad Lutfi’s role in the affair.

AS a friend, Bambang Harymurti recommended Lin Che Wei to have an attorney present during his fifth questioning related to the crude palm oil (CPO) export graft case at the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) on Monday, May 17. The 53-year-old economist was a witness of the case refers by the AGO as cooking oil mafia since he was one of the government advisors on the CPO policies. But Lin Che Wei blatantly rejected the suggestion.
