Scrubbers to Control Air Pollution

COORDINATING Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Pandjaitan has recently urged heavy industries to implement ‘scrubber system’ as hazardous gas emission controller. The government is looking ways to reduce air pollution in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. Using liquids or solids, the scrubber functions to control and clean exhaust gases resulting from industrial activities.
