The police probe into the fatal shooting of Justice Syafiuddin Kartasasmita three weeks ago has uncovered clues indicating the involvement of the youngest son of deposed president Suharto, Hutomo Mandala Putra, better known as Tommy. Statements of witnesses comprising Supreme Court justices and Syafiuddin's widow as well as close friends of the deceased seem to point to Tommy's involvement.
