The peace of the family room at No. 14, Jalan Yusuf Adiwinata, Jakarta, was shattered when TV programming was interrupted by a newsflash. All those present instantly turned to the screen of the home theater showing the news program. It was late afternoon, just before 7pm. But for Tutut, Mamiek and Titiek—all three daughters of Suharto, the owner of the house—it was as if the skies were already dark.
