Indonesia now is vaguely reminiscent of Lebanon in the 1980s. Bombs going off everywhere, taking innocent victims with them again and again. In the last seven months, no less than 81 bomb blasts have shaken the country. In other words, an average of 11 a month. These figures do not even include Aceh and Maluku, the two most troubled regions of Indonesia, whose inhabitants have suffered the most from the bombing plague.
