TRAVELING to Surabaya, East Java, on Thursday, September 28, Gerindra Party General Chairman Prabowo Subianto met dozens of kiai (clerics) from the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) religious organization at Shangri-La Hotel. The ulama or religious scholars who attended the three-hour meeting with the presidential candidate from the Onward Indonesia Coalition included Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) General Chairman Anwar Iskandar.
