IN the midst of heated demonstrations taking place in a number of provinces, President Joko Widodo summoned Prabowo Subianto to the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon, August 22. Jokowi asked the president-elect for his opinion regarding the heated political temperature due to the plan of the government and the House of Representatives (DPR) to pass a revision to the Regional Head Election Law.
