DURING a limited cabinet meeting at his home in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, President Prabowo Subianto summoned Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin and Deputy State Secretary Bambang Eko Suhariyanto. On that Sunday afternoon, March 16, 2025, the President asked both officials to report on the progress of the revision of Law No. 34/2004 on the Indonesian Military (TNI), which was being discussed with the House of Representatives (DPR).
