ILHAM Ardiansyah vividly recalls the beginning of this year when he had to work overtime almost every day. As a senior staff member in the tax department at a technology company in South Jakarta, he found himself putting in extra hours due to the chaos caused by the Core Tax Administration System (Coretax), the new tax administration system launched by President Prabowo Subianto on December 31, 2024, and put into operation the following day.
