In the middle of a crowded settlement, Ibu Titin Embay's house can be recognized by the bamboo blinds shading the terrace. The house is small and the front wall faces onto a narrow alley in Lopang Gede subdistrict, in Serang, Banten province. A small stall selling daily necessities takes up half of the front of the house. The other half is a cramped veranda furnished with a few plastic chairs for visitors.
