AMONTH ago, Pak H.M. Jusuf Hasjim, caretaker of the Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School, had a meeting with me at the Muhammadiyah head office in Jakarta. We talked for around half an hour on various topics, including religious radicalism. We eventually agreed to invite the leaders of this group to Tebuireng soon.
