At Odds Over the Timika Eyewitness Report

The fatal shooting at Timika has claimed more victims. Following the August 31, 2002 attack that killed two Americans and one Indonesian, Deputy Chief of Papua Police, Brigadier General R. Tarigan has been transferred to the National Police Headquarters, and the Timika Police chief, Snr. Adj. Comr. Sumarjiyo, will reportedly be transferred to the Police Science College in Jakarta.
