Tommy Suharto would torment police and other investigators in ways that he knew would irritate them most. When police deployed troops and heavy-duty equipment to break into the bunker in his house at Jalan Yusuf Adiwinata 12, or distributed wanted posters from a helicopter, or even put a Rp500 million bounty on his head, Tommy was living quietly in his parents house on leafy Jalan Cendana in Central Jakarta.
