THE corridors of the Al-Kindi Hospital are awash with blood and tears. The sound of people crying pervades the place, accompanied by an unsavory odor mixed with the smell of disinfectant. Now and again, chilling screams emanate from a room at the end of the corridor. A mother sobs while hugging her child, who is wrapped in a cloth. "May God give the Americans what they deserve for this," she cries hysterically.
