Indonesia Hosts IORA Leaders' Summit

INDONESIA hosted the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) Leaders' Summit in Jakarta last week, the first since the international organization was formed 20 years ago. At the end of the three-day event, leaders of IORA's 21 member states signed the Jakarta Concord, a document aimed at promoting cooperation and stability in the Indian Ocean sphere.
