Indonesia, Philippines Launch New Shipping Route

President Joko Widodo and his Filipino counterpart Rodrigo Duterte inaugurated a new Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) sea transportation between the Philippines cities of Davao and General Santos and Bitung in Indonesia. The launching was held at the Kudos Port in Davao, on Sunday, last April 30.
"The route will reduce the time needed to transport goods and people between the two regions from five weeks to only two and a half days," said President Jokowi.
