Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to push economic development in the Melanesia sub-region during the Leader’s Summit of the Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, last week. Indonesian delegation leader Desra Percaya, the Foreign Affairs Ministry’s Director General for Asia Pacific Affairs, said that the position of Indonesia in MSG can be beneficial to the members of the organization.
