AKBAR Tandjung came as a special guest to the 60th wedding anniversary party of Liem Sioe Liong. When he took his leave, Liem forced himself to stand up from his chair to hug him and pose for a picture with the presidential candidate from Golkar. While walking away, Akbar was able to respond to questions posed by TEMPO.
