INDONESIA'S demand for electricity is expected to double in 10 years time. In 2012, Indonesia must have a supply of 54,500 megawatts. The current availability of electricity supply runs around 31,000 megawatts. The additional power supply is needed because the consumption per capita will increase from the current 429 kilowatt hours to 680 kilowatt hours by 2013.
